The season concludes with "Cross Jurisdictions", a rather unsubtle way of introducing the spin-off show CSI: Miami and, finally, "The Hunger Artist", a somewhat strained attempt to comment on our society's obsession with glamour and self-image, which is most notable for Grissom's devastating discovery that his hearing problems are not only congenital, but irreversible. --Mark Walker

Awesome work & the second half of season 2 proves just what CSI can do with its talent, the relationships keep getting more tangled, the emotion & interplay is something matched by no other show & still is.
Some great stand alone episodes which make this DVD well worth the buy Icings, Chasing the bus the highly acclaimed & still terrifying Stalker, anatoym of a lie & the season closer.
There was not a foot put wrong in season 2 & its shows. Superb, storylines, excellent cast, great all round characters, great jokes & George Eads came into his own in this season. With by far the best character of the lot, and a character who is somewhat overlooked but well worthy of his place....
Great work & like season 1 these are great to watch time & again the cast are wonderful plus it shows!
Billy, Marg, Gary, George, Jorja, Eric etc have made this show there own & deserve the merit for making this show everything it is to day long may it continue & season 2 really has something special they don't come like this very often. ten out of ten!
The formula is still the same as season 1 and is reassuringly familiar to fans of this quality drama.
Top episodes include "Chasing the Bus" and "Anatomy of a Lye". This collection also includes "Cross-Juristrictions" which introduces it's stablemate in Miami. Also, without giving too much away, a tread running since early in Season 1 is nicely resolved.
If you are a fan of CSI, buy it. Simple as that.
