The cable was supplied in good time (under 5 days), there were no instructions or other documentation - but there should not need to be. However as soon as I pluged it to my iPhone I got a message informing me that "This accessory is no supported by iPhone". The only option is to dismiss this, but no matter what I try to do I cannot get an image on my TV. I have tried differnt TVs, and differnt stages of the iPhone - turned off then connect cable, turned on with my home video running, with other videos running, with other applications & without any applications running. Nothing. I wish I had the reviews from others before wasting my time!
My iPhone is a 3GS which is not jailbroken so if you have a jailbroken one it might be worth the try, but do not get your hopes up!

I bought this to use with my iPhone 3GS and simply it doesn't work. I have no idea if it's a software issue, as I do have the latest software updated on my phone.
It's not a complete loss though. I also have a iPod classic and it seems to work fine with that.
So all in all it's not too bad for only a few £. It does only get 2 stars as it doesn't work for the intended purpose I bought it for.

...they all had iPhone 3GS - and swere complaining that the cable didnt work? Interesting - if only they read the product description section which clearly states that its not compatible with 3GS - only 3G. What else to say other than - DOH, and now the prouct gets a bad rating because people cannot read!! Nice work!!

Works fine for connecting iPod to tv to play video
Connects easily - just use iPod connector on Ipod then attach three audio/video cables to tv - don't plug in the USB cable to anything- it doesn't work if you do!

It works but only if its an ipod or a jail broken phone :)
