The Clippasafe Advanced Bump Belt helps avoid potential injury to either the mother or her baby by preventing the lap portion of the seat belt from riding up over the abdomen in these situations. I've been using the belt for a week now after getting increasingly uncomfotable with the normal seatbelt, and I'm impressed. Wasn't sure exactly what was involved but actually it's a simple device - a flat lightly padded square of material you sit on, fixed to the chair with a belt around the back to stop it moving when you get in. There are 2 velcro attachments at the front which you use to clip over the normal seatbelt at your thigh level which hold it lower than usual.
In the ice/snow recently it's felt much safer to be held in by a belt that wouldn't put tight across my bump in case of an accident, also doesn't press on the bladder which is marvellous! Takes about an extra 10 seconds to fit over the normal belt each time you get in but well worth it. A good buy.

This item does exactly as it says on the box. It is easy to fit and use everyday. I am in and out of the car four or five times a day and it is easy to put on and take off.

Have used one of these from month 4 of my pregnancy when i started to get a bump and am still using (baby due next week)- as a sales rep i drive nationwide and spend a lot of time in the car. Haven't had any issues with wear, the belt is as new really and portable so i've used it when i've been a passenger as well. Will be using again should i have another pregnancy!

Not amazing
Product is easy to use. It is good for a passenger, but for a driver is not comfortable. Does not stay on laps, moves under bum, when driving.

Bump is now safe
