Good exam aid 1 Jan 2009
Format:Paperback
This is a good CISSP revision aid, although I supplemented this with a number of other books and web research. The book is well written in short, easily digestible chapters, with revision questions at each section. The only fault that I have found is an erroneous reference to ISO 17799, which any fule knows has been replaced with 27002 (as another reviewer pointed out on the Shon Harris book). In contrast to the hardbacks, this is relatively easy to carry around, although it is still a weighty read.

Very Helpful 19 Oct 2009
Format:Paperback
I found this to be the most useful book of all while studying for the exam, unlike the others, this book is broken down in to 19 chapters making the whole thing seem more manageable. I read this book cover to cover and found it to be very easy to understand, well presented and broken down in to many bite size sections covering and explaining the material very well. Each chapter has practice questions and scenarios which are great to check how much of the material has been understood and committed to memory, do not skip these.

In the end I used mostly this book and the Official Guide to the CISSP CBK (as further reading) to prepare for the exam which I went on to pass.

Well recommended.

Does the job 2 Jun 2011
Format:Paperback
On first sight the updates on previous versions cover whats needed, but I think this book needs to be used in conjunction with other study materials and free test questions which you can find in the internet. Overall a good reference.
