I bought a Ciak after deciding that I wanted to splash out on something other than your generic moleskine. I'm glad I did, this journal excells in quality. The soft leather cover is durable and hard wearing, the pages are brilliant for both writing with a fountain pen and also sticking things in without being able to see through to the other side (something other journals suffer from badly).
This journal ended up full of glued in photographs and other bits and pieces and lasted well through to finishing it as well as being carted around in and out of my bag constantly.
I'd never bother with another brand after using one of these. A great multi purpose journal that is well worth the money spent.
