I brought these to childproof some cupboards around the home - I have twin boys and they are in to everything. I wish I had saved my money; the adhesive is reasonably strong, but the click shut mechanism on these locks is flimsy and loose, meaning that they don't close properly, and can be opened with virtually no effort, rendering them completely useless. Take my advice, spend a little more and get yourself some BabyDan universal locks - they're great.
These are absolutely useless and a waste of money. I bought the starter kit to baby proof and it was a total waste of money. The adhesives are not strong and several have fallen off and the lock mechanisms on those that stay on is flimsy and easily opened. Save your money and do not bother with this range of products. If I could give it less than 1 star I would have!

Not really childproof
Did not work on a cupboard. When my child tugged on the cupboard that it was attached to, the latches just sprang open. Completely useless for the purpose that we used it for.

Not suitable for the elderly
I bought the child locks to keep my elderly mother in law, who has dementia, out of the fridge. She forgets she has eaten and munches her way through the entire contents. Read more

GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
Totally effective in keeping my young gtandson out of cubhoard doors throughout the house and very keenly priced.
