Does as it says, charges the sat nav nicely.
The only issue, is that the cable is a sprung cable and is so shorter than a straight cable and you need to stretch it to make it reach the windscreen.

The sat nav in-car power supply could have had the voltage and current output rating stated as the Sony sat nav required 5.2 volts and 2 amps at least to charge an use. I wonder if the supply was up to it as the original Sony product was far more substantial. The product was well made though and my comments above don't detract from the supplies userbility. Can't beat the price. When in use it does not get too hot either.
