I brought this item for my new ipod 4 gen nano.Anybody who want a mains charger i recommend you buy this it does work and chargers the ipod quicker the the usb.

I bought this to charge my new second generation (2G) iPod Touch. Apple have finally changed the iPod charger requirements after years of build-up such that old Firewire-based chargers are no longer supported. As a result, neither of my old iPod chargers are able to charge my new iPod Touch. :-(
I didn't want to spend nearly £20 on the official Apple USB charger, so I ordered 2 different cheaper chargers from Amazon hoping that at least one would work. As it turned out, this charger works perfectly but the other one I ordered didn't work at all with my new iPod (despite being advertised as compatible).
This charges my iPod Touch 2G from almost completely flat to fully charged in just over 2 hours. Doesn't seem to get too hot in use. It has all the usual electrical safety certification. I don't really know what more a charger could offer really...
The only strange thing is that it is supposed to be black, the box label says it is black, but it's actually white! Other than that, it is exactly as described.
Full marks - excellent value for money. 5 stars!

Useless ipod touch charger
Worked for one day and took 10 hours to get a tiny bit of battery life and that was it. Now doesn't work at all. Waste of money.

great but be careful. dont use it when charging cuz the keyboard will type funny and your games wont be the same..

Charger failure
Service was good having received the product within 24hrs but the charger failed after about one week. It got hot and then stoped working
