I bought this on the off-chance that it might work and could not be happier. Charging my e-reader from the computer USB was getting to be a nightmare. If your reader has two, almost full, memory cards (around 800 books)it takes ages to reset after a charging session. Sometimes I had to plug it back in again for an hour and do a re-boot. However, now I have this handy little charger there is no problem. It charges from zero to full in less than an hour and I can even carry on reading whilst it is charging, something not possible if charging from the PC. Sony charge around £20 for their charger and it is big and heavy. This little charger is light, portable, handy and for the price, brilliant!

i own many sony products and have no problems with past purchases,but i was really disappointed there was no
mains charger included in my e-reader package,priced one up from sony and was again most disappointed with the price,really expensive i thought.
i shopped around and came across this little item,does exactly what i want it to do and at a really bargain price,plus you can use the e-reader whilst it charges up, unlike the usb cable

This little charger is ideal for charging the Sony E Reader. Far more compact than the Sony Mains Charger and easily packable for travelling. Excellent little piece of kit *****

Doesnt fit the Sony PRS600
This charger does not fit the Sony PRS600. The DC in jack is very loose and has to be held in place for it to charge, let go and it stops charging. Read more

A must for eReader users
This is a useful thing to have, as it means you can charge up your eReader anywhere in the house without having to switch on your PC. I recommend it.

Charter for Sony Reader PRS-600 touch
