christmas pressie that went wrong. husband plugged it in to car tried to un plug and burnt his hand, when he dropped the plug it landed on seat and melted that.

Not very effective on the cooling front. Winter will tell if more effective heating. Not too noisy in operation but not exactly pretty to look at.
