Having watched as Rangers took apart Kilmarnock last week to pip Celtic to the SPL title again, I couldn't help but feel agrieved as to how Kilmarnock appeared to allow Rangers to score at will and secure their third title in a row.
So imagine when I see this book, full of similar grievances from previous seasons against the mighty bhoys! Full of short, to the point anecdotes, intertwined with humorous drawn illustrations creates an interesting read for any Celtic fan annoyed/baffled/angered by the apparant continous bias towards Rangers in Scottish football and the Scottish Media.
The book is very well written, and Reilly's use of literary devices aids the 'conspiracy/paranoia' (call it what you will- I'll settle for 'fact'!) and as he aptly puts, 'you have to laugh, else you'll cry.' The book does indeed make you laugh, and many a time as well. From the comical names given to Rangers players, referees and well, anything associated with the blue half of Glasgow, through to the quite brilliant illustrations depicting some of the perceived scenarios, Reilly has you chuckling to yourself.
Don't be put off by the price- it is well worth every penny for the quality of the book.
