Product Description

You won't find a more versatile cutting and sanding tool than the CEL MultiPRO Corded Multi-Tool. Unlike electric saws, the MultiPRO motor doesn't generate a rotating action; it generates an incredibly quick side-to-side oscillating motion. This means that you can use a huge range of different cutting, sanding, rasping and polishing attachments, instead of using lots of different tools. The MultiPRO generates 11000 - 19000 oscillations per minute to guarantee high speed cutting. With the right attachments you can cut through almost anything, including metal pipes and tiles. You can sand wood, concrete, and masonry; remove tiling grout, vinyl floor and glued down carpet; repair old windows and sealant around sinks, baths and showers - it's the essential powertool no DIY enthusiast should be without.

What's not to love?
If you've been hankering after a Fein Multimaster, but can't justify the cost to yourself, you should definitely consider one of these beasties, as it is half the price for just as much kit.

The Fein has an oscillating angle of 3.2 degrees, which the CEL Multi2Pro matches. The CEL has very slightly less oscillating speed (up to 19,000 opm, as opposed to the Fein's 21,000, but its doubtful whether this is noticeable on a day to day basis!)

The Fein wieghs in at 1.1kg, while the CEL is 1.26kg - this might be a noticeable difference for some applications like protracted sanding, but the power delivered is pretty much the same - both are 240volt.

Like the Fein and the Bosch Allrounder, this CEL model is corded - better for some users than having to buy and charge spare batteries. (The Bosch doesn't have as much Oomph in terms of power though).

The blades and accessories are a good deal cheaper than Fein, although the CEL will accept Fein or Bosch bits too.
Finally, the CEL is British made, and feels solid and well made in the hand.

What a fantastic handy little tool from what is, in my experience, a great little UK startup company. Not many people have heard of CEL yet but this particular tool competes directly with the consumer grade Bosch ( Bosch PMF 180 E Multifunctional Allrounder: Cuts, Saws, Sands ) and the more professional grade and original version of this type of tool, the Fein Multimaster.

It's an oscillating multi-tool with all manner of different available attachments. The fact that it oscillates (rather than rotates, say like a Dremel multi) generally means you end up with less mess sprayed out when you're working. Dust from whatever you're doing lands neatly out of the space from which it came rather than being thrown into the air.

The tool essentially has two functions, cutting or sanding. I'm vastly generalising here though, it can cut metal, wood, plastic and all sorts of other materials (including raking out grout which is what I've used it for mostly so far) as well as sanding with all manner of different grade pads and rasping too. The accessories are generally well thought out and look to be quite interesting shapes but that actually really helps you when working to get into awkward corners and such like that would normally be difficult with a power tool

There is a full range of accessories ( CEL Multi-tool Full Accessory Pack, 64pc ) sold together as a pack or separately. What I like about the CEL is that the accessories are that much cheaper than the Bosch or Fein products.

I purchased this as my Bosch PMF180E came to a premature death after very little use.
The CEL has had alot of abuse and has so far performed very well, plus you can use the Bosch accesories if you use the adaptor which comes with the CEL accessory pack (not supplied with the MultiPro).

i originaly bought my multi pro on a tv shopping channel so cannot comment on delivery from amazon. what i can say is this is an excelent tool. My first machine had a cooling problem after a few months. I returned it to cel and was given a new one within a few weeks, including extra blades. the only advice i would give is don't do everything at high speed as i have found that some items cut better using slower speeds, also don't do too much at one time as i found the vibration leaves the hands tingling for a few hours after long use.

The CEL MultiPRO 240v AC Oscillating multi-tool MT3 seems to be a good bit of kit , with a good range of Accessories the thing that lets it down is that there is no case , so i had buy a "Terry Plastics 010 Power Tool Case" Which did the job.Terry Plastics 010 Power Tool Case

Great tool, paid for itself after first use, cutting through plasterboard to fit socket boxes. I also used it on kitchen laminated worktop.
First class tool. The accessory pack was purchased at the same time and has the majority of blades needed for normal DIY use.

The Dragons have a winner with this brand!!!

Bought the MT 3 multi-tool mainly because I was updating my bathroom & needed to remove grout. As it happened I also had to remove 2 tiles. The multi-tool did everything it was supposed to, including scraping off the old tile cement,it certainly helped me out of a fix. I also needed to cut a copper pipe which was recessed into wall, no problem. Very versatile tool & can think of many uses it can be used for, I thoroughly recommend it. There are 2 criticisms a) the cable could be longer b) I also bought the accesories, the box supplied for them is too small for the amount of accesories supplied.
