The CEB is a translation I had not come across before, but I was very pleased with this sample of the Psalms.
The translation is a pleasant balance between accuracy and "biblical" language and easy reading, both to oneself and out loud.
The Kindle formatting is a little odd - there is no table of contents, and the links on the first page only take you to the first 41 Psalms (book 1). This seems a bit strange to me.
That said, each "book" of Psalms is marked as a chapter, so using the left and right buttons of the KK, or whatever is the equivalent to skip a chapter in the more up to date models, takes you to the other books, each of which has its own TOC at the start, so while it's a little annoying, it's very easy to work round. Not great, and knocks a star off my rating, but otherwise a nice edition of the Psalms. I think it is reasonable value at its list price, and if you see it for free it's a wee bargain.
