Finally a book that covers updated CCNP BSCI #640-901 exam.
This is another solid book from Ciscopress providing wealth of information about routing OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP protocols. It was written as a self study guide so it includes lab exambles and review questions. I
One thing I am missing is CDROM. CDROM based questions and content proved to be very useful for preparation for my CCNA exam.
Overall this book will be useful for anybody who likes Ciscopress style books.

This book is fantastic, and i only got it a few hours ago. Its got nice example which your can follow along with unlike the other bsci book by cisco press (the exam cert guide). For example, in the other book, its got a lil troubleshooting section at the end of each chapter, which consists of a few deug commands, and NO OUTPUT! So you are left with no idea what the output looks like.

Another thing, this book teaches you what you NEED to know, i.e. ipv6. The ipv6 in the other book covers i think about 3 pages! A little more than a marketing paper!

So basically if you want to know your stuff, get this book.

If you want to learn how to be a top decoder, coz that is what you will be doing no matter how many times you read the other book (not mentioning the millions of miscake, ooops mistakes) then buy the other book. you wont learn anything much more than you did in ccna!
