Ok well it's just a cable, but it does the job and id is equal to the original - even having an RFI choke around it, so a perfectly good piece of kit. From the floor it comes to my chin, so without measuring it's about 5 feet long, which is a good foot longer than the original (I have both). Sods law 60 seconds after I bought this, I found the original!
Please remember this is a specialist cable for Olympus cameras and is not, as some might think a standard miniature USB, its more D shaped. Obviously, the PC end is a standard USB plug.
Apart from downloading your photos, please remember too that this cable is vital for upgrading the cameras firmware, when connected to the PC and using the update feature in Olympus viewer 2. (Download this FREE from Olympus) [...]
