We have a beautiful flagstone dining room floor which is fine for static furniture but is quickly broken up by anything on wheels. We bought these for our antique dining table on castors, and they are exactly what was required.
In terms of size, they are large enough for any furniture in our house. The only thing I've ever seen which they wouldn't cope with are those settees with enormous round feet, but they probably don't need this kind of protection.
Not much more to say -- this is probably one of the most unexciting kinds of products you can buy, but the damage they avoid is worth many times their price.

Bought these to prevent an office-type revolving chair from zooming across the floor and dumping me on the floor. The chair's designers must have thought they were building a comfy skate-board.
The trouble is that the rims of the cups are too low to stop the castors jumping out while moving it, unless you are very careful to press it carefully to the ground as you move it. They are much better than nothing though and would be excellent to spread the weight of the feet of heavy furniture over a carpet. They are tough, with just the right amount of slip and incredibly cheap.
So, a little disappointing for my precise needs but still fit for purpose and excellent value for most floor protection jobs - as the other reviewer has said.

These cups do significantly increase the floor area over which the weight of a piece of furniture is spread and that is good. But, unlike some other castor cups, they do not slide at all over the carpet, so moving an item of furniture even one inch means it comes out of the cups and has to be lifted up at each corner in turn to re-fit the furniture legs into the cups. Also the weight of the furniture has made a dent in the "floor" of the cup, suggesting they are not stout enough for heavy pieces of furniture.

A poor design
The bottom has a sharp edge that prevents the cup from sliding easily over carpet - we chamfered the edges with a file which made them much better. Read more
