TOTALLY agree with Mr Davies (review above) 100%. I purchased this about 4yrs ago and whilst the actual workings of the cooker (ie, cooking food) was fine, the ignition was a right ole nightmare. It started clicking and clicking and clicking about 4mths after purchase and the only way to stop it, would be to turn the oven off. This ignition issue only happened whilst using the main oven compartment. Contacted cannon who sent out a repair man who failed to correct the issue saying there was nothing wrong with it. At this stage I didn't know what triggered the ignition's faulty clicking so it never happened whilst repair men were inspecting it. After 4 different repair men came out, I videoed the clicking on my camera to prove I wasn't going nuts b/c that's the impression these repair men were giving me. Turns out the heat of the oven had to be set higher than gas mark 5 or 6 in order for the clicking to start, the previous repair guys (and the 5th) were setting it at the lowest heat possible so I think they knew there was an issue. By this stage my years warranty was due to expire so I personally paid for an 'Independant Repair Man' to come and inspect it and he got to the bottom of it straight away. This is after nearly 6mths of being driven mad every time I used the cooker!. Repair man wrote out his report and I contacted Cannon who then told me they were unable to help me and to go to the place I purchased it from. Grrr!! So I did and thankfully they exchanged the item (same model) straight off, even swapping this white one for a silver coloured one which costs more. All has been fine until 3yrs later, my currant cannon chesterfield's ignition issues have now started again. I will not be replacing it with another Cannon. Thought I was buying the best when I purchased my first one but the brand and it's customer services have ruinned my faith in them as a company. NEVER buying cannon again!!
