Traffic Message Channel (TMC) information
TMC gives your Mio C520t the capability to pick alternative routes to navigate you around traffic jams and hold-ups as you go. The TMC module is fully integrated in the cradle.
The TMC service delivers instant traffic and travel information direct to your Mio navigation device.
The information is broadcast via radio stations throughout Europe and the data integrates with Tele Atlas maps used by your Mio device.
In most European countries TMC information is provided free of charge

A Superb buy. This system find the smallest little hamlets in france and since buying it a month ago must have saved us nearly the purchase price in fuel costs and time saved. It is so easy to set up and the instructions are clear and concise. The keyboard is in the querty style, the first one I have seen of this type and once you start typing in the name of a town or village it gives suggestions thus once again a time saver. No complaints at all though I must point out that I dont use the MP3 player or the bluetooth.
