5.0 out of 5 stars Hero 29 Nov 2012

CT Studd is a modern day Christian Hero! We should dare to live our life as devoted to Christ and he did.
5.0 out of 5 stars From cricket to life in the bush! 12 Jun 2014
By Liz - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
One of the "Cambridge Seven" C.T. Studd, born into a very wealthy family, became a famous cricketer playing for the English team.
Christianity was not of interest to him whatsoever. In fact all the boys were horrifed when their father announced that he had
given his life to the Lord! Read how God used another man to lead C.T. and his brothers to a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

With his father dead, C.T.'s mother was not happy when C.T. announced that he was going to China to work with Hudson Taylor's China Inland Mission! What did he do with his wealth? Did he continue to live a wealthy life over there?

C.T.'s health often suffered through the years but he never gave up! After China he traveled to India, Africa and the Congo.

An incredible story of how fame became nothing and God became everything! We read this book aloud in family devotions. A challenge to all ages, not just kids. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

C.T. Studd - 1860 to 1931

Life changing book for 27 year old gal... I wish I read this book as a teenager. Great inspiration and God's embodiment on the earth... So real, lots of pain, but surely His glory is flourishing through this one dedicated man.
