I have had Bytestor Products for a few years now, with my most recent product prior to this, having the 16gb version which still works like a treat after 2 years of abuse !
I needed more space, at a very comptetitive price and I needed portability that would chain to my keys - I went for the Bytestor 64gb Usb flash drive and it has not let me down ever.
This is a USB 2.0 Flash Drive, there is newer technology out there, (USB 3), however for my needs this is perfect (plus the usb 3 ones are double the price at the time of writing - something i am not going to pay for!)
The reliability and build quality on these items is superb (I have also had Kingston, a world renown brand in the past and that has failed), If anyone has had failed equipment I am guessing it was a one off, these really are a good product.
For other comments that you only get 60gb, anyone with a technical mind, will know that the file system uses space, hence a drop in space (for example a windows pc with a 1tb hard drive, you get less than 1tb due to the NTFS file system, even when it is formatted).
This is a great item and like many 64gb flash pens, you will need to format it to NTFS for use with windows ...
So, How do I format a USB Flash Drive to NTFS file system?
A: To enable NTFS on your USB Flash Drive drive (USB Flash Memory):
1. Right click My Computer and select Manage.
2. Open the Device Manager and find your USB drive under the Disk Drives heading.
3. Right click the drive and select Properties.
4. Choose Policies tab and select the "Optimize for performance" option.
5. Click OK.
6. Open My Computer.
7. Select Format on the flash drive.
8. Choose NTFS in the File System dropdown box.
9. Device Formatting is completed.
Away you go with your 64gb usb flash pen :)
Great item, price and quality, you will not be disappointed
