I chose this memory stick because of previous good experience of the ruggedness of a previous memory stick bought from this manufacturer, which has happily withstood being stood on, having drink spilt on etc.It is unashamedly pink - the red/orange description from a previous reviewer seems wishful thinking to me! - but the lurid colour does help one identify it easily. I have had no problem with its performance. So why the 4 stars? Its chunky shape means that it doesn't fit well close to other devices; it is wide enough to make the use of neighbouring ports on my USB hub difficult - although not impossible.

I have used Bytestor in the past - very reliable. Mem stick is sturdy, with reassuring "click" lid so you wont lose it! At about £1 per gigabyte, this represents great value for money. We use it to move data between laptops and desktops and it has never let us down....and you can just pull it out of the USB slot without "disabling" it no probs!! Highly recommended

I got this USB memory stick as a Christmas present in 2008. I have used it hard for the last 4 and a half months non stop and it still looks and more importantly works as well as it did on the day I got it!I use it as a mobile pc almost. Using the portable apps suite with a fair number of extra apps added to the basic load, I can be confident that no matter what computer I sit down at I will have my apps set the way I need and want. This stick has been been treated to a hard physical life and while it has not been submerged in liquid it has been stepped on several times as well as been wrenched out of a fair few usb ports. All without the bending and subsequent breaking that others have mentioned. It has spent days running about 12GB of avi files in a continuous loop during a conference, has been maxed out with pictures and never had any problems with read or write speeds or bad sectors. A not on the colour. Yes I ordered a pink one on purpose. I wanted one that would stand out and people would quickly recognise as mine. And it works very well on that front as well! Overall a wonderful bit of kit!
