This particular SDHC Memory card is class 6 - meaning that it is 3 times faster than a Class 2. Many of the SDHC memory cards that are sold (at the time of writing this review) are only class 2.

When used in a camera (still or video) the speed that the card can store data is important - the faster the better, up to the limits of your machine. In a slow device, a fast memory card will slow down to the speed of the device, but a slow memory card can't speed up in a fast device, so it's always worth getting the fastest you can afford.

I have this type of memory card in my Nintendo Wii Console as well as in my Fuji S1000 Black Digital Camera 10MP 12xOptical Zoom (Fujifilm Finepix S1000fd) and my sat nav. They've proved to be reliable and 4Gb is a fair capacity.

I'm pleased with mine!

Bought for use with Panasonic FZ38 camera and seems to work perfectly well (based on one month ownership of 16Gb equivalent - this one is the spare just in case the other one fails or is lost). Meets the standard recommended in the camera manual for recording video (i.e. Class 6).

Comes with plastic box for storing it when not in your camera - some cheaper ones lack the box. That said, I suspect the boxes are worth about 5p if you know where to go, and if you've owned an SD/SDHC card before you may have a spare box already.

Capacity reported in the FZ38 manual: 570 12 Megapixel pics at the higher of the two JPEG qualities offered, or 30 minutes of AVCHD Lite filming at the highest of the 3 qualities listed). In fact, when the card goes in, the camera shows 590 pics available.

I bought three of these for a variety of purposes. They arrived separately (bizarre attitude to postal costs, but I wasn't paying so I can't complain) in good condition. One is in my Garmin SatNav and is more than adequtate. The other two have done occasional service in my Nikon DSLR camera where they have been surprisingly good. They seem reasonably fast and can cope with 3-4 frames per second at 4MB per picture. Overall they are good value.

I am using this in a Canon Powershot A590IS.
Photos are saved very quickly, refresh rate for the next photo is greatly enhanced over standard cards and recording video clips is instant with no time wasted waiting for the data to be transfered.

The price is fair and I hope it lasts me a long time.

As has been stated above, its a good idea to fit the fastest card you can into your camera, it makes a big difference to its ease of use. I think a class 6 card is a minimum really. This card was a good price for its size and class, and just seems to do its job without fuss. I bought it for a Lumix fz38, and it works perfectly. Recommended.

Great product. Easy to use, quick and accurate. Stores great images in my Panasonic camera then slots straight into my Panasonic TV and displays great quality HD images, still or moving. It is also very easy to download images onto PC and will store approx 500 pictures at 12 mega-pix. Good price and quick delivery from Amazon.

They work and they're cheap - what more is there to say - the case is good too!
Using with panasonic lumix ~DMC LX2 and casio exilim ex f1- they work fine for stills, HD video and the F1's high speed video.
Recommended.
