This is a marvelous collection of words. I've read the book cover to cover and yet still find things to amuse me. I'm ordering the book via AmazonUK because it appears to be totally out of print in the US, for shame.

...but it can still be fun. This is an irresistible gallimaufry (or, for that matter, powsowdie) of words whose allure is exceeded only be their nugacity. How have you managed to survive all these years without, for example, "jentacular" (pertaining to breakfast), "kaivakuku" (Papuan crop-protection police) and "mackallow" (property held in trust for one's foster-children)? There's much, much more where those came from. You need this book! How could it possibly be out of print?
