Product Description

Product Description

posted on 5/13 this is a COMPLETELY REWRITTEN edition, A large asteroid strikes the moon breaking large chucks of the moon off. Hundreds of these moon rocks are grabbed by Earth's gravity. On a warm Friday June morning hundreds of rocks strike the world killing billions. The survivors fight for life, they fight for food and clean water. The rocks generate a mile high tidal wave, they kick up massive debris into the atmosphere, blocking sunlight from reaching the ground, kicking off a new ice age. A small subdivision in northern Virginia comes together to fight off gangs and a rouge government agency trying to break any survivor's spirits so they can be put into FEMA camps. By the Light of The Moon tells the story of what happens when the northern hemisphere is threatened with a new ice age, what happens when people are faced with limited supplies. How people respond to the crisis and how some plan to use it for their advantage.

1.0 out of 5 stars Really struggled 24 May 2014
By Pam
Format:Kindle Edition
Whilst the initial idea seems quite fascinating I really struggled to suspend disbelief. The main characters are some peppers who immediately set to and built a concrete shelter in the garage of their townhouse. Then we get chunks of explanation of what might happen with the onset of nuclear style winter etc. I have to admit that at that point I lost the will to live and gave up.

2.0 out of 5 stars pathetic 30 May 2014

read this with great dismay! many no hundreds! of spelling and grammar mistakes(has the author not heard of spell checkers). It reads as if written by a 12 year old! Good idea and storyline but ruined by bad writing. Hope book 2 is better written!

2.0 out of 5 stars I wouldn't recommend it 28 May 2014

I gave it a go, read around a quarter of it, It was just an Obama baiting bunch of crap! Unfortunately, now it's taking space up in my library.

Absolutely the worst kind of childish penmanship I have ever had the misfortune to read. The author tries to put across three basic facts about the Us Administration and life in general:

1. That Obama is warlord like and very stupid ( the thought that anyone who doesn't know that 1800 = 6pm is laughable)
2. The DHS is evil and essentially paramount to a Nazi or Satanic organisation.
3. That God can fix anything (even make peoples hair change colour)

It is all written in such a way that you imagine the author spends time holding placards at street corners!

Very very very poor. Save your money. This is so bad, I wrote this review on a kindle (so you can imagine how motivated I am to prevent others wasting money like I did!)
