LIght hearted comedy staring Doris Day and Gorden MacRea 8 Dec 2000

I love Doris Day and this is one of the first of her films that I saw. I remember watching it everyday when I first recorded it, knowing all the song words. This film is the sequal to On moonlight bay, and in this one william (Gorden MacRea) has come back from the war, and they are set to get married until Marjery (Doris Day) suspects her father of having an affair with a French actress. This comedy musical is a great film to watch with all the family which will entrill you all. So sit back and enjoy. If you like Doris Day, have seen alot of her films or just like musicals in general then this is a film for you.

The film brought back an era of innocence portrayed wonderfully by Doris Day and Gordon Mcrae. It was light hearted and very entertaining,a magical film my familly and I will enjoy over and over again because there was something in it for every age to enjoy.

The Doris Day Anthology : The Pajama Game, By the Light of the Silvery Moon, Lucky Me, On Moonlight Bay, Tea for Two, Lullaby of Broadway, April in Paris. [DVD] If you love an old fashioned story with lovely music and lots of schmaltz, this movie will become a favourite. Its a very happy and full of fun movie, and even if you don't love Doris Day, you will have Gordon Macrae to make up for it. He has a wonderful voice and some nice songs to sing.
