In essence Buzz is still great but with this latest version it feels like two steps forward and two back again.
Firstly, the Move games which are played seperate from the main games are good fun although they are over quite quick so you have to really go some. It turns the move controller into magnets etc so you grab the right answer or you pick up the wrong answers and thrown them in the trash grinder leaving the right one remaining. Using the EyeToy to take you picture and adding a customer sound is also a great feature. The single player mode is a little more beefy but still a bit underdeveloped and myBuzz still churns out plenty of quizzes.
The downers are that the graphics have taken a turn for the worse. I assume its so that Move can run because its really noticeable that the studio is now a bit jagged and the new (erk) slim Buzz isn't graphically refined. Bring back big Buzz, he could be a smarty pants but get away with it because he looked cute. Now he's all slick and its not as nice. The new round this time round is the timewarp round which takes snippets from songs and either starts them slowy and then winds them up, or starts really fast and winds them down. This would be a great round had original tracks really been used as sometimes the "as made famous by" versions are a bit different! Also, the questions are massively harder this time round! I was in a 7 player game the other night and the winner won by getting to about 3000 points and that's the highest score I've seen so far!
If its not broke, don't fix it. Some of these tweeks are steps back and that's a shame. Quiz World is still the best Buzz game.
