Buying Computers for Seniors - and those in their 30's!,

I originally bought this book for my Mum, hoping to help her make the transition to Silver Surfer and "get connected". Reading through it I found it most helpful - my last PC is getting on for 7 years old and many recent PC developments had past me by - as a busy parent of 2 young children, distilled wisdom is always much appreciated.
The author clearly oulines the requirements needed for different applications and uses, helping us find PCs suitable for both Mum and myself - without spending a fortune on computing power and software we will never use - the book easily has paid for itself many times over! It has also helped guide me into some new areas, including using my old machine to run Linux and utilise free programs available over the internet. Highly recommended - for young and old. This should be required reading for PC megastore salesmen everywhere!
