Product arrived and was just as described. As a bit of advice if you are only missing the silver cap on your iPhone you can pry this off the new switch and stick it in the hole left by your missing one without even opening the phone.
Its a good product, although, you would still need to find somebody to fit it on the phone for you as you cant just clip it on the phone. Only cost me £5 so its not that bad, but at least my buttons back :-)
Thoguht I'd struck lucky when I saw the price of this cool little 3GS replacement. I've got a spangly new 4S and was giving my old phone to Mrs H. However, old 3GS did not have a button.
Had to take it to bloke in Wakefield who charged me £15 for fitting it as he "had to take the phone apart boss". Anyway the button works beautifully well and I have no hesitation in recommending it to all my friends
