I've been looking for a sewing box that could hold a lot but wasn't to big. However all the boxes I've seen in shops seem to be old fashioned baskets and 80's chinz fabric. I was looking for something stylish. This seemed to fit the bill. It is funky and up to date but with a retro feel about it. It is beautifully made with lovely finishing detail. A wonderful gift for any sewing enthusiast. It holds alot. I now have in there:a rotary cutter, extra blade, shears, 2 pairs of scissors, needle box, 2 pin cushions, chalk, 3 small pencils, four boxes of pins, x24 bobbin case, a steel ruler, 26 reels of cotton and I still have room left. Great buy and well worth the price! I bought the matching button box and pin cushion too! I now have my eye on the tape measure.
