I have a class of Year 1 children (aged 5-6) and they absolutely love this book. I'm alway asked to read it at least one more time after the first read, and it even inspired them to write to the author about it. It also has the potential for some good PSCHE links. I'd definitely reccommend it for children up to 7 years old, possibly older.
