This book is very easy to read. The chapters are divided into months so you can follow it through the year, or if like me you feel so inspired by the words of wisdom, you will want to read it all at once. Having read through the whole of the book I have kept it to hand and opened it at a random page, always finding useful non patronising nuggets of advice.
The book helps you to balance all aspects of life, taking away the guilt that is often associated with working mothers. Practical and managable ideas are given to help you connct more deeply with those around you.
Each section of the book closes with a list of resources which allows you to explore the themes more deeply. These include web-sites, books for adults and children, magazines and also films.
The only critisism I have for this book, because no book can be perfect, is that the ribbon bookmark that comes attached to the book is just a bit too long, and gets soggy when reading in the bath! However, trim this slightly and you have an excellent book that I would recommend to all parents.
