Format: Paperback
You know if you've spent your time wisely reading a business book if you get just one gold nugget to use. In Paul's book I had quite a few unexpected 'aha!' moments as I discovered a wealth of useful tactics I can implement in my business immediately.

Such as... why it is crucial to set up a complete 12-month marketing calendar (page 57); an innovative way to source new prospects... described on page 77; the golden rule to follow when adding value to a sale (page 132) and the little gem on page 145 explaining how to reduce credit card transaction costs - I'd never have thought of that one in a month of Sundays! Then there's the valuable advice on developing your team... so - quite a few golden nuggets

Now - when I read business development books I like to make notes, but sometimes those notes can get mislaid. Not with Paul's book because after each chapter he has included action plan sheets where you can jot down those important points - it means everything is there, right where you need it.

This book is not just 'nice to read' it is a practical, workbook that deserves to sit on any business owner's desk... but only if they want to make their business even more profitable than it already is!

Format: Paperback
This book is packed full of useful and practical business tips that anyone in business can apply. They are simple and straight forward and help you make more money.

If you only manage to apply a few of them you'll easily make back the cost of the book several fold in no time.

A must read for anyone in business, whatever size it is.

I've had this book for just over a week now and it's proving to be a real gem! There literally are 173 fantastic business growth tips inside, covering sales, marketing, time, team and much more... And what's also good is that you don't have to read it cover to cover to get the most out of it - you can dip in and out at will depending on what you need help with! Add to this it's written like a workbook with plenty of places requiring the reader to sit and think about the issues and really engage.

To be honest I wish I'd had this book years ago... it's one on those you want to share with so many people - but yet hate to see it out of your own grasp!

For only £12.99 this is easily a must read for any business owner - in my opinion it's well worth its weight in gold.

Paul's book is written as individual tips that are easy to understand and easy to implement straight away. So many books of this nature are long-winded and ultimately confusing so this was a breath of fresh air.

There are some real gems and many ideas that make you think 'why am I not doing that?'

Off the back of the advice in the book I recently contacted my top 20% of clients, just to say hello and received 3 new quote requests straight away. Something that we all should do but how many of us really do it?

All in all, I highly recommend the book for any business owner looking for some fresh ideas to help them generate new leads and sales, to motivate them, to make them assess their team and to kickstart their business.

I have had the pleasure of listening to Mr Avins speak, on the strength of which I purchased his book. I was impressed by mr Avins' clear and simple to understand approach to public speaking and I am pleased to say that this translates in his writing style too. If, like myself, you must have your business books clear, easy reference and packed full of business gems then you won't be disappointed, this book is one of the best I've read. Previous reviews here on amazon qualify the content, so don't just take my word for it. It makes sense...

As a reader of business development and growth books, and a supporter of any thing that follows the KIS principle this book is a winner. Simple straight forward advise in bite sized chunks. Start by dipping in and find the tip that suits you and follow it. It makes more of a difference than you expect. I used promise small and deliver big. Now looking to implement another one to make a solid foundation. Worth x100 more than the cover price, especially if you DO what it says.
