Product Description

AUTHOR NOTE "I write this text as a certified scrum master with experience in international blue chip companies dating back to 1999. That experience includes leading projects for the BBC, General Electric, Oracle, BSkyB, HiT Entertainment (responsible for Angelina Ballerina, Bob the builder and other titles that you love watching with your kids or siblings but won’t admit to) and Razorfish. These roles have all involved leadership on a wealth of mobile, internet TV and web software projects. I have played the role of scrum master and in the earlier years, of team lead and technical lead. I have had the privilege of running projects and rolling out working practices in market leading organisations from start to finish."

Creating the most efficient system for your business, development team, support team or any other organisation can often be a game of trial an error. We spend years aiming to create efficient practices which meet the demands of our customers as quickly as possible without overspending our effort, time or money. Imagine if there was a system that helped optimise the effort of our teams to meet the demands of our customers.
In this book, you will learn how the Kanban system can do this, and I explain:
• What Kanban is and where it originates from
• How it can make your team more efficient
• How to implement Kanban in your team or organisation
When you have read this guide, you will have an excellent foundation in this popular system, and a great basis for helping others to understand the same.

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading title and content on Kanban 19 Sep 2012
By Sunish - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This little e-book seems like an article in which I felt that the author, himself, doesn't know much about Kanban for software development. There are much better articles on Kanban available freely on Blogs. The Kanban method for IT was formulated by David Anderson and was pained to see not a single reference about him in this book as well. his book doesn't take into account the practices of Kanban and not sure how it can be referred as a guide, as the title suggests. Even if it is available for free, I won't suggest it to anybody and would ask them to join related groups on Kanban in Yahoo and LinkedIn.
