ETO Best Erotic Book Brand 2010 --Erotic Trade Only Magazine

Product Description

'Did I mention that every chapter is highly charged with eroticism, BDSM, D/s, and almost every fantasy you can imagine? If you don’t get turned on by at least one of these fantasies, there is no hope for you.' - Manic Readers Reviews

'The Business of Pleasure is a rip-roaring, rollercoaster ride of sexual indulgence; eloquently written, at times shocking, and always entertaining.' - Miz Love Loves Books Reviews

An erotic novel by best-selling Black Lace author, Justine Elyot.

If one call could set you on a trail to the heart of your darkest fantasy, would you make it? Charlotte does, and her bold decision propels her into a world where no desire is too outrageous, decadent or extravagant to be satisfied, for a price. Her own fantasy life merges with reality when she is hired to work for the shadowy organisation she first encountered as a client. She organises an array of wild set pieces involving banquets, film productions, mansions full of pleasure slaves, as well as thoroughly researching those requests that chime with her own kinky tastes. Two men, one woman, and every sexual fantasy imaginable, these are the ingredients that make up the business of pleasure.

Being a big fan of Justine's previous book, On Demand (Black Lace), I was very excited to get my hands on her latest release, The Business of Pleasure. This, like the author's previous book, isn't a novel. It's a collection of short stories written to a theme.

The main protagonist in the book is Charlotte. Looking for some spice in her life, she signs up to have her deepest, dirtiest fantasy fulfilled by some shadowy agency which specialises in such things. She gets what she wants, and a whole lot more. Turns out the bosses running the company have an interest in her, over and above taking her money. And this is where the real fun begins. Charlotte winds up working for the guys, helping to make other people's fantasies come true.

However, Charlotte is considered to be so much more than an employee and things quickly become deeper and darker than she ever imagined possible. Is Charlotte in over her head, or can she handle the business of pleasure?

Well, what a fab book! I don't want to give too much away, but I definitely think it works as a collection of stories. I'll be honest, I didn't enjoy The Business of Pleasure quite as much as On Demand, but that's purely because some of the themes included in the book aren't to my tastes. But that's not to say they're not to yours. There's lots of sex (naturally), spanking, bondage, swinging and much more.

The writing is superb; it flows wonderfully, the characters are very alive and the dialogue is sparky. I whizzed through the book in a matter of days, it was that interesting and easy to read.

If BDSM and darker themes are your bag, then you should definitely grab yourself a copy of this book. Immediately.

5.0 out of 5 stars Make a wish... 21 Dec 2010
By Mia
Format:Paperback
Aladdin had a Genie in a lamp; you now have Justine Elyot.

Two men want you to be happy. Very happy. Extremely happy, as a matter of fact. They want to make all your dreams come true and by Gosh, do they succeed !
All the characters in that novel choose to take the aforementioned men up on their offer. They go boldly where so few people have gone before, namely beyond the reservations and objections many have when it comes to sex. They revendicate their bodies' rights. They demand satisfaction... And all their pleasures are yours.

For that's the trick to good erotica. For the writer not to leave you, the reader, outside in the cold. You want to be there, with them; you want to breathe the same air, drink the same wine, touch the same velvet (or latex) and kiss the same lips.

Justine Elyot offers you just that. She presents you with these essentially likeable characters, far from the standard-issue cardboard perverts that sometimes people erotica novels, and invites you to follow them, closely, on their journeys.
The characters talk like you, think the same things as you, make the same mistakes we've all made (or would all make in the same circumstances). They are exquisite and witty, delightful and naughty.

They will interest you, they'll make you laugh (quite a lot, actually), they'll make you empathise and, above all, they'll make you come... for more.
Just make a wish and click on "add to basket". The Genie will take care of everything.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you buy one erotic book this year... 22 Nov 2010
Format:Paperback
...then I seriously suggest that you make it The Business of Pleasure.

Justine Elyot's writing is a delight. No 1980's clichés here, just beautifully written prose that also happens to be insanely sexy.

Without giving too much away, the book manages to combine a genuinely interesting premise, likeable protagonist and fascinating story, as well as super hot sex scenes.

Regardless of whether you're a BDSM fantasist or a life styler, if you're into kink, then you won't be able to help being turned on by The Business of Pleasure.

It's clever, it's sexy and it's pretty. The perfect choice for the kind of women who knows what she wants, and knows that she can be empowered by submission.
