5.0 out of 5 stars Practical, objective an easy to read book, 5 Feb 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Business of Consulting: The Basics and Beyond (Hardcover)
When I bought this book there were no reviews other than the writer herself. Today it is good to see how many people did enjoy this book. I think I got a good impression of the consulting business: really I could feel how I would be running such thing. I do not think that it fits me now in view of my other immediate opportunities but maybe at a late stage in my career I will give this a chance.

2.0 out of 5 stars Reminder, 18 May 2010
This review is from: The Business of Consulting: The Basics and Beyond (Hardcover)
While this book is well written and informative, i want to remind you that it was written in 1998!! there is a floppy disk at the back of the book!! Who even still has a floopy disk port to use it in?

Anyways, since i bought this book because i want to enter into the world of consulting, im not up to date on new technologies/systems/rules to the game which may have come into place in the past 12 years. But since its such a big gap and technology has influenced alot, and im assuming also the consulting industry (IT consulting anyone?) has changed significantly.

I recommend to get a more up-to-date book!
