This is a brilliant product, fast, accurate, easy to read, simple to use and very compact. Up to now I have used GPS DMD's but it's difficult to see where the flags are from distance. This product locks on the flags quickly and gives an exact yardage. I can't claim that it has transformed my game yet but it has certainly taken the guess work out of yardages and has made it much easier measuring to intermediate targets too (distance to front and back of fairway bunkers, ditches etc. The product is built to a high quality and will slip easily into your trouser pocket or a small pocket on your bag if you don't want to use the carry case that it comes with.

It's my first rangefinder but I like it very much! It picks up the flag every time, distances are acurate...what else could I ask for (apart from a better golf swing to hit those distances)!

HASH(0x9b7adf90) out of 5 stars Happy Customer 29 Aug. 2012

I used for the first time yesterday and it worked flawlessly and I was able to very quickly determine the yardages to the pin. What sets this product apart from others is the easy to read display (red) and the pinseeker technology. A round I played last weekend with a friend, where he had a competitors product, we found the yardages were off as we were never certain he was hitting the pin. Does not happen with this Bushnell and "pinseeker".

HASH(0x9ac446c0) out of 5 stars Buy the older Bushnell V2 instead.....it's better and cheaper 24 Oct. 2012

I bought this unit and also the V2 w/ Slope to compare them both. I played 9 holes using the V2 and loved it. Easy to use and the Slope is actually a great tool. At the turn I switched them and started using the Z6. The Z6 is a hair faster and the red readout is much easier to read as teh red color really stands out. That being said, the V2 is not hard to read, it's just not as bright as the red. HOWEVER, the button to press is MUCH firmer on the Z6 and that causes a slight shake when you are getting a long read. I am a strong 38 year old so it doesn't shake because I am old and feeble. It shakes because you have to press so hard.
Once I reached 13, I would use both and for the last 3 holes I was 100% back to the V2. Yes, the V2 is the older model but I decided to stick with that one and not for the money.....I think there is only a $50 difference.

You will be happy with either one but I chose the V2 because of the Slope and it's easier to use.

HASH(0x9acb9594) out of 5 stars Ready to try it for real 20 Nov. 2013

I had an older Bushnell unit that stopped functioning, and the cost to repair it would have been more than I originally paid to buy it. I liked the scan feature, but there were other features I wasn't as happy with such as a menu button that was too sensitive and in a location that allowed for frequent, unintentional activation. It seems that some other brands have been returned more frequently than Bushnells, and overall, I like the Bushnell units, so I decided to try this Tour Z6.

I received my order yesterday, so I haven't really had a chance to utilize it much. After reading the manual, I was easily able to scroll through the settings menu to adjust the brightness of the display and then adjust the focus of the viewfinder. I also reset the eyepiece for use with sunglasses. That being noted, I tried scanning objects, including flagsticks with reflectors, at the golf course where I work. The menu button isn't easily activated without the intention to do so.

First thing I noticed was that the power button functioned without issue. Some reviewers noted that activating the unit required a lot of finger pressure. Not so with my unit, fortunately. The display is easy to interpret, and the unit quickly shows measurements, sometimes in tenths of yards. The unit no longer features a 'scan' mode, so it isn't as easy to move the unit across the background and cross the flagstick to find the flagstick yardage (watching for the shortest distance as I move across the background of trees, etc). The unit will supposedly do the same thing over a maximum pan time of 7 seconds, but I didn't find this to be as simple as with my old unit. I'm ready to try it on the course, but the weather in Massachusetts is quickly becoming too cold for me.

HASH(0x9ac36438) out of 5 stars Great rangefinder!! 7 Jan. 2013
By Noah Via - Published on Amazon.com
This is a magnificent rangefinder. I received this on Christmas from my wife and have used it many times since. The red laser display is amazing an there are also 4 different brightness settings to select depending on the brightness of the day. The sun was shining as bright as it could be during my use, so I turned the brightness up to the max and could see the indicator with no issues at all. The pinseeker technology makes it simple to find the flag even if you are shaking. No matter what rangefinder you use, you're going to be shaking when looking at a target. The pinseeker technology really zones in on the target so you know you're not hitting the trees in the background. I really couldn't believe the accuracy of this device so I've even 2nd and 3rd guessed myself and it had the exact same distance every single time.

Many have been complaining about how the button is hard to push. The button is slightly tougher then you might be use to (if you have ever used other Bushnell device), but this is such a great device, it hardly determined my rating on this product. If you cannot hold this device steady while pushing the button down, you have the grip of an infant.

Pros: Sleek look, Perfect size for you palm, Bright display (adjustable), Pinseeker technology, Waterproof.

Cons: Button slightly tougher to push.
