Now legal for tournament play, the Bushnell 1600 Tournament is one of golf's leading rangefinders. Bushnell rangefinders work by firing an invisible laser into the distance. The bushnell pinseeker 1600 tournament edition is with one word, super. Its very easy to pick out targets, with the good magnification and the very steady way about it, when holding it. All in all Its very precise and I havnt tried a better laser range finder out there. It has giving me the comfort and security needed, especially in making those shots that was hmmm not exactly on the fairway, and where guessing distances to the flag is not always easy. I have handicap 5.

I bought this item for my young son who is the golfer in the family. I was sceptical at first especially at the price and due to the fact that there is usually distance markers around a golf course anyway. His verdict is don't trust the markers and since using this for 5 rounds his handicap has dropped from 12 to 9 mainly because he his hitting the green more consistantly rather than being a club short/long from misjudging the distance to the flag. Expensive piece of kit but very well made and worth every penny. I would sooner he be out on the golf course than hanging around a street corner with a can of cider...!!
