5.0 out of 5 stars Hooray! 12 Jun 2011
Colour Name:Silver
I bought this for my husband who is pretty serious about his golf. He is delighted with it and says it's much better than the gps thingy that he had before which he had to use to download courses from the internet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helpful Tech.... 14 May 2010
Colour Name:Silver
This new bit of tech has helped with my club selection on certain shots. It has also gave me confidence in myself that I have chosen the correct club with the eye and used the Bushnells to double check......Its like having a caddy with you when you are out there fighting for every shot.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works Great for less money 16 Feb 2014
By Clint - Published on Amazon.com

I don't know why people spend more money on range finders. This one will hit the pin as far as most people can hit the ball. I've had no issues hitting pins from greater than 300 yards out. If the pin has a reflective device, it will hit it from 500-600 yards. I bought my original rangefinder (this model) in 2010 and used it for more than 200 rounds. The only complaint I have with it is the battery containment. It uses a 9 volt battery, so it snaps into the cables. The cable eventually nearly ripped off the part that you hook to the battery. Also, the battery cover falls out pretty easy so the battery will sling out and pull on the cables as it is dangling. My original stopped working after I lost the battery cover and I believe the issue is that the cables were disconnected. After nearly 4 years of hard use, I didn't have any issues just buying a new one at $200.

1.0 out of 5 stars BUSHNELL MEDALIST - INACCURATE 22 May 2014
By MARK SULLIVAN - Published on Amazon.com
Colour Name:White
Measured 20 yards short on average out of the box, with pinseeker mode on and off, standing at or near the 150 yard marker it was yielding 130-140, friend with an older Bushnell was getting 149, friend with a GPS was getting 147, took it to a football field, shooting goal post to goal post should have been 120 yards, came in with 99, sorry Bushnell but that's 2 full clublenghts off, shouldn't have to compensate 20 yards for a product that's supposed to be +/- 1 yard, guess I'll just use the white and blue stakes, at least I'll know I'm +/- 5 yards.

4.0 out of 5 stars One shot deal 12 Oct 2012
By kalabor106 - Published on Amazon.com

Most use it for golf but I needed something for shooting and hunting and not pay a bunch for it. Well what I can say is it dose a good job on most targets I lased. It gives off fast readings and I've got ranges at 980 yards and low as 30 with ease. It worked well for my recent hunt where I stuck the cross hair right on the deer and it gave me the range making the shot that much more confident that I knew what my bullet would do. Needless to say a single shot. I really like it but with this price there are things that suffer. Its not a true ballistic range finder so if you shooting it up of down hill you are going to have the incorrect reading do to bullet drop. The laser is very sensitive to small targets that maybe near what you want to tag. I had problems range findings targets cause of some simple blades of grass getting in my way. Noticed at times I'll have to tag a target a few since here and there it'll give me different readings. Like I said very sensitive. So rounded objects tend to give off multi ranges depending on how you hit it. One last thing is I cannot range in solid areas as well. Like a single color hill side of grass it will not give me a reading but if I can hit a tree or brush near it, it will give me a reading. Not sure what that's about.
