I got this for deer stalking like a previous contributor. So why choose a golf instead of a hunting version? Laser range finders for hunting have become rather complex when all I need is something simple to use in the heat of the moment. This is as simple as it gets. It even comes in an orange pouch instead of the ubiquitous black.
