These binoculars are extremely good for bird watching, they focus down to a few feet so allowing the study of butterflies and other objects without disturbing them and are ideal for hand held observation of birds in difficult light conditions. The waterproof facility is useful in the changeable conditions in Britain. Very good value at a competative cost.

These work brilliantly for bird watching. Very clear image and sharp focus.
They also have adjustment for the strength of each eye which cuts out eyestrain and provides a better view.
Haven't tested the waterproofing, but the casing is tough and ought to stand up to most casual abuse.
Comes with carry strap and soft case.
Overall an excellent set of binoculars and I'm delighted with them.

I bought these specifically for a safari in Africa. Used them for watching birds and game, both large and small. they were excellent. Very clear and good field of view. Made all the difference when spotting all types of animals, near and far. They are very well made and comfortable to handle. No problems at all dispite dusty (most of the safari) and damp conditions (at Victoria Fall). The quality difference over smaller lens binoculars makes them worth the small premium in price. I am absolutely delighted with them and recommend them highly

Lens caps
Quite a few reviews rightly criticise the lens caps.
They tend to dangle in front of the objective lens.

good quality and nice to use
