This lip balm is so much better than the original burt's bees lip balm!in my opinion:-)
Ads:
So easy to apply as it just glides on your lips
Feels so moisturising, smooth and not too heavy
I don't have to apply it often because it lasts long but doesn't leave that waxy feeling
Leaves a slight natural tint on lips (but the colour is buildable the more you put on)

Disads:
Hmmmm....not many!I guess it doesn't really smell like pomegranate more like fruity?maybe, but thats not such a big deal
Also,it doesn't have that minty tingly feeling that some people love

Definitely if you love lip balms you should try this out!
Hope that helps:-)

Having tried tens of diffferent brands, after years of trial and error, this became my preferred lip balm : it has great consistence, beautiful color, delicate & not overwhelming scent... a mixture of pomegrenate and light touch of rosemary, perhaps?

Having read other reviews i thought this was going to be a bit more than an ordinary lipbalm - its very nice and while on your lips it feels nice, but like every other lipbalm i felt that once it wore off my lips were left feeling dry - perhaps a little drier than they did the first time i used!

I've got really chapped lips and they seem to be chapped and dry whatever the weather or time of year, with bits of peeling skin sometimes, which drives me mad because lipsticks and balms just sit and gather on the dry skin and look awful.

I only buy toiletries and cosmetics that haven't been tested on animals so am fairly limited in my choice of lipbalms, as most of the 'top brands' you see in the shops aren't cruelty-free.

Most of the other lipbalms I have tried just seem to sit on the surface of my lips in a greasy sheen and not actually sink in and moisturise the chapped bits, but this Burt's Bees one actually does moisturise them and absorbs into my lips and actually gets rid of the bits of chapped and peeling skin.

It's wonderful stuff and I would recommend it to anyone who's got dry or chapped lips, this stuff actually works! And it's not tested on animals either! :D

Some people have said that the smell is awful - I must admit that it doesn't smell like pomegranate but I don't think it's awful, it's got a fruit-herbal smell to it, I can't really describe it as it's not a smell I've ever smelt on anything else, but I think it's very nice!

This is possibly the best lip balm I have ever tried (?) It gives off a hint of colour, which is a berry red colour with a shine. It is very moisturising and smells lovely. Really good for a lip balm. It does absorb into your lips really well, you may want to exfoliate your lips first and then apply it for best results.

Alas I was curious about all the Burt's Bees hype, particularly when good friends were just as vehement about the brand as online reviewers and bloggers. This is not the wisest £3 I have ever spent, but on the bright side it WAS only £3.

The product smells a little bit rancid. It isn't just a beeswax smell - that would be expected - but there is something extra-unsavoury about the scent of this lip balm.

It applies fairly sluggishly, and requires a couple of passes to really do the lips any justice. Once on it's notably heavy, and there is no relief from the discomfort of dried-out lips once it is applied until I work it into my lips with my fingertip, and even then the relief seems to come more from having the lip massage than having this product on them. Once on, it wears off with remarkable speed. It's gone in under an hour, leaving my lips in need of yet more balm.

I _have_ found that when used preventatively, this product does a fairly good job of avoiding my lips _becoming_ chapped - when I'm heading out into the cold weather to walk the dog, if I apply this before I go and during the walk my lips survive the hike, but are still quite dry by the time I get home.

For me, I didn't find this product at all met the hype surrounding it, and the price certainly does not match its efficacy.

The lipbalm feels smooth and silky on the lips without being thick or sticky. I really like the texture, the light hery scent and the fact that it is all natural. However, this is only 4 stars because I was lead to think this was tinted due to the the description and other reviews, when in reality it is practically invisible.

Before using this product I'd never used Burt's Bees before but had always heard good things about their products. It's a nice size so I carry it around with me everywhere now.
As a lip balm it's good in moisturising the lips and has a nice smell too. In addition to this it also leaves a nice subtle colour, but not too much, so it still makes your lips look a natural colour! Application is also good as it goes on quite smoothly.

I've found applying this before bed the most effective if you want to get rid of chapped lips, and then also applying again throughout the day when needed to maintain smooth lips. I would definitely recommend this and will be purchasing this again in the future :)
