About the Author
David Roberts worked as a fashion illustrator in Hong Kong before becoming one of the UK's foremost children's illustrators. He has worked with a host of writers including Philip Ardagh, Georgia Byng and the Children's Laureate 2011 - 2013, Julia Donaldson. David won a Gold Award in the Nestle Children's Book Prize for Mouse Noses On Toast in 2006, and was shortlisted for the 2010 CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal for The Dunderheads. Alan MacDonald was born in Watford. He dreamed of becoming a professional footballer, but when he won a pen in a writing competition his fate was sealed. Alan has written over eighty children's books, which have been translated into many languages and won several awards. Alan also writes for TV, including Horrid Henry on CITV.

We had the dirty bertie book for toddlers and i thought that this would be similar with the rhyming etc, but it didn't nd i really dont think i enjoyed it neither did my son, think we read it once before shelving it.

I ordered five of theses books all arrived when stated. I was amazed at the conditionof these books, could hardly tell which were used and which were new. My Grandson will be delighted with these books. Believe it or not some of the books only cost one penny plus postage, whilst some were brand new

Love all the Dirty Bertie books. Think my son has the whole range now. So well writtern, they are a joy to read. Amusing stories and written in nice short chapters. Great bedtime read for the kids. (Mum enjoys them too!!)

This is a very good book because it is for any age really.I managed to read it very quickly because it was so good!Now i really want to order lots more of the series of books and lots more of friends and family do as well.
