4.0 out of 5 stars I'd like to toast Teri Hatcher!, 21 Jun 2006
By Wendy J. Martell "Wendyberyl" (Wales, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Teri is written a funny, honest, entertaining and moving book with some real pearls of wisdom in its pages. At its core is a message: if you're happy, it doesn't follow that you make someone else unhappy. If you refuse the burnt toast, it doesn't mean someone else has to eat it. Simple, but we need to be reminded of this and Ms Hatcher does it without preaching (well OK she does preach a bit but we hardly notice and she always apologises for it). I was captivated by this real page-turner and I felt I'd learned something from it - quite a lot in fact. I'd recommend it to you. Cheers, Teri!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic read to make you think, 23 July 2006

I loved, LOVED this book. Its good to know that even someone as rich and famous as Teri Hatcher has to agonise over the simplest of things. Its funny, honest and at times forces you to do some much needed soul searching for your own happiness and then shift your expectations. Definitly something I would recommend to people who find even simple things that life throws at them difficult to accept and deal with. It certainly help change the way i think and feel. Well done Teri, its certainly a fantastic read that makes you think that much deeper.

Was a bit sceptical about this book havent really seen her in much not really a desperate housewife fan but my god i think i love this woman. How down to earth funny and so like us can a person be.The same worries i have life, love, weight, and just about everything is talked about in this book truly a great read that i couldnt put down. Fabulous!!!

Not as good as I expected when listening to Teri Hatcher on Jonathan Ross chat show; but there are excerpts in the book that are definitely thought provoking.
