Firstly, the product description Amazon have provided is incorrect: the plot involves Clint, an every day working man and his wife Joanna, who is having an affair with a doctor. They plot to kill Clint and get the insurance money. They poision Clint, and he is buried alive (as the title may have given away). What follows is a set of circumstances that teeter on the edge of plausibility... i'll say no more so as to not spoil the fun.
I first saw this TV movie in the 1990s, and have loved it ever since. My VHS recording is looking a bit sorry these days, so I was over the moon to see it had finally been released on DVD.
I feel like I have to qualify this by warning that this is a cheesy TV movie - don't expect a masterpiece. The plot is ludicrous, and it is fairly cheaply made. Still, it benefits from a damn fine cast (Atherton is especially great as the doctor), and some sturdy direction. The major plus for me is just how much fun this - if you go in expecting the Shawshank Redemption, you'll be disappointed. Take it for what it is, and enjoy.

Only trouble the drug overdose they give him doesn't kill him. Lucky for Clint he's buried in a cheap wooden box and he unburies himself. Just remember, Hell hath no fury like a man buried alive!
Revenge is on his mind"
Okay in places it is a very far fetched film,as if something like this would ever happened! this is why the film is so breath taking because it tries its way to the edge of the seat umth and awe" throughout a relief and suspense thriller with a purpose of revenge,greed and mistakes that lead to survival!
If you love your thrillers to have good twists and turns then jump to Amazon and buy this!
Acting is believable and cast are very suited for their roles and haha dont forget the dog lol"

Loved it

I loved this movie. It was a near 'Hitchcock' storyline. The actors were great. Here this man gave his wife so much, and she was just a horrible person. Well, she got what she deserved, and then some. Loved that dog too! A must-see.

Great B Movie

I really liked this movie. It was almost like a film noir type of story. I won't give away the ending,but the two things the wife wanted the most, she got and more.I really felt bad for the husband. He did things for her that some women would love and she was just a spoiled, selfish woman. The acting was good and the ending was great.

This a great thriller suspense,about greed and revenge,this is not b movie,great acting, I wish this movie was on dvd?
