Ideal winter fragrance

Brit has quite a sugary vanilla sweet that is suited to the colder months. It reminds me of a roaring fireplace and warm trench coats (perhaps because of the plaid bottle...signature burberry).
It has been described as having notes of lime, icy pear, green almond, white peony, sugared almond, mahogany wood, amber, vanilla beans and tonka beans, however after the 1st 20min all I am left with is the vanilla :-)
If you like sweet, comfortable fragrances that are not overpowering this is a safe bet.

Fantastically Spicy Floral-Oriental

Honestly, It's the only perfume I have purchased three times (and counting).
I have a few others, but I really can't get enough of Burberry Brit.
Some reviewers have said that they prefer the Eau De Parfum, but I honestly I find it to be a really strong, long lasting fragrance. If you can't justify spending 80-90 dollars on perfume, the Eau De Toilette will suit you just as well.
Notes:
Italian Lime, Icy Pear, Green Almond, White Peony, Sugared Almonds, Amber, Mahogany, Vanilla, Tonka Bean.
There's a lot going on in this fragrance, but it all blends incredibly well. It's deep, richly layered, and delicious.
I have a few others, but I really can't get enough of Burberry Brit.

Burberry Brit Eau De Toilette 1.0 oz

Burberry Brit is one of those fragrances I've always heard good things about, but I never paid it any mind at the department stores. Occassionally I read fragrance reviews here on Amazon to find out about the different feedback and for some reason it has some of the strangest reviews I've ever witnessed. I've read everything from the fragrance being too 'musky and strong' to being too 'sweet and light', I was baffled. I finally worked up the nerve to purchase a 1oz edt bottle from Nordstrom just to find out for myself.
I'm personally blown away by the fragrance. It's the best combination of 'sugar and spice' and it has a warm vanilla base, but the other notes kick in to create the most uniquely blended perfume so Brit isn't really comparable to anything else. However, it does go on strong for a woman's perfume, but the dry down is nice and warm. You'll definitely need to spritz this on your wrist to sample it instead of smelling the nozzle or spraying it onto a card, it does the fragrance no justice.
My only gripe with Burberry Brit is that the scent fades away quickly afer the application. It's almost as if it was all a dream, one moment your senses are completely blanketed in this warm, sensuous fragrance then the next it's almost completely faded away. I purchased the EDT since that's what I prefer with most fragrances, but I really think you'll get the full effect of this perfume with the Eau De Parfum bottle. In fact, after my little 1oz bottle is gone, I will be purchasing the next size up in an EDP.
