A fast and furious monologue...Jack Thorne is right on target with teenage angst...amusing, poignant, bang on the money real - catch it if you can. --WhatsOnStage.com

An electrifying combination of streetwise earthiness and heartbreaking vulnerability...terrific --Scotsman

Jack Thorne is one of our brightest talents and writes with exceptional drive and insight and a constant awareness of danger...More than your average monologue; it is a brilliant miniature play about Britain: condensed, complete, and full of vivid and unnerving kids on the cusp of darkness. --Time Out

Product Description

An exhilirating coming-of-age drama for a young solo performer, premiered at the 2010 Edinburgh Festival. Katie is a feisty and intelligent 18 year old. When her boyfriend Abe gets into a fight, his mates insist they track down the kid who attacked him. What starts as an adventure becomes more dangerous as Katie is thrust into a journey she'll never forget. The complexities of multicultural inner-city life are vividly exposed in this remarkable coming-of-age tale from the co-writer of Skins.

Format:Paperback
Funny Waky, A one woman show about an 18 year old girl being a typical teenager. Her mind likes to wonder into random stories which make some very interesting and hilarious monologues.

Great for any girls looking for audition speeches.
