5.0 out of 5 stars priceless~ 2 July 2011
...probably not for everyone - my friends and i saw eric supporting the damned
a while back and they all hated him, this is the one of the four most played
recordings i own (over the last 7 or 8 years anyway)-full of observational comedy
and comes with a very endearingly weird sonic soundtrack-highly recommended

5.0 out of 5 stars Never doubt Eric 24 Feb 2007
By Tommy DOG - Published on Amazon.com
If you have mistaken Wreckless Eric as some one hit wonder from the 70's you never listened with both ears.

Being a great songsmith hasn't every left Eric's work as he struggled with personal demons, took control of his career and moved back and forth to France at least twice.

Bungalow Hi is the album that anyone who had their stereo up loud when songs like Waxworks came on knew would seep out. Not that this album is a full on oddity attack, but it's more then just catchy pop.

It's songs are personal with out sounding bitchy or cute like Jonathan Richman, they are clear but with fine webbing and age lines from experience not acedemic crapola.
