Great book!,
This review is from: The Bumper Book of Marmite (Hardcover)
This was a gift from a friend who knows I'm rather Marmite-mad and I really love it!
It's the perfect gift for anyone who loves the stuff, but probably not a bad one to give to someone who hates it too! It's a fun book which doesn't take itself at all seriously and is full of page after page of very striking illustrations, very amusing stories and some brilliantly clever jokes and puns (Mona Lisa, King Kong and Pyscho as you've never seen them before). Some really nice touches such as an alternative history and stories of how Marmite was created (extracted from underground mines!) and a really wonderful A-Z that runs the length of the book. I'd recommend this to anyone - ideal Christmas present, so get your sticky mitts on it too!

A great celebration of all things Marmitey!,

Just in time for Christmas, this will probably make it to the stocking of many a Marmite fan. A book brimming with wonderful nonsense stories, glorious technicolour artworks and many a laugh-out-loud moment.

Love it or hate it,
By Bison "Bison" (UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Bumper Book of Marmite (Hardcover)
This is a fab colourful book of fun, an ideal gift for the person in you house that likes Marmite.
Full of excellent illustrations and witty text - not a fact book by any means, although it has a few recipes, generally just a romp through a Marmite fuelled world. Bought as a Christmas pressie for a Marmite friend, really pleased with it.
