Format:Audio CD
At last we have a CD which includes the music that was left off of the original soundtrack. What is also good about this CD is that it actrually has the version of the main Bullit theme that starts the film. As the original soundtrack was a re-recording of the music from the film, some bits were changed slightly to make it more popular for a mainstream audience, but this CD includes the original versions. If you liked the music from the film, you'll love this CD, and even if you have the original soundtrack you may still want this. The CD contains 18 tracks ... which include both the record versions and film versions of three cues, and three additional ones not released before. Although it's not the original music, but a more recent re-recording, it still has all the character of the music from the film, and it should do, as it is conducted by the man himself, Lalo Schiffrin. A must for fans of the film.

Listen to this CD and hear Shifrin at his best. And relive the movie in your immagination. The pictures are good, the music is better. A must-buy for Bullitt, Shifrin and movie jazz theme fans. Count me as all three!

Quite simply, there is no cooler driving music than this. Its just a shame that I am driving around Norwich and not San Fransisco!

Brilliant!
Simply brilliant. Even without the connection to a great film this CD would stand alone as a great album. Turn it up and let the music ebb and flow - impossibly cool, sub zero.

Bullitt
I grew up to this music! My parents had this album... so listening to it makes me feel safe and in a good mood :-) But apart from that - excellent, soft music!

Not got the McQueen cool
