A very good product. I have been put off the more mainstream products as they use lots of industrial chemical by products to make them. It obviously saves them a lot of money and boosts their profits but is you search online there is a growing consensus that a lot of mainstream products (toothpaste, moisturiser etc) are full of potential poisons. That's why there has been such growth of natural health stores in the high street and online.

This isn't the most natural option and I'm looking for an even safer product. But as a halfway house to get away from the worst offenders (Nivea,L'Oreal etc) it's a good start. Don't take for granted what's available on supermarket shelves is good for you. Do some research online as there's loads of quality info out there. Take care of yourself!

I normally dont write reviews unless I really approve of a product or in this case have something bad to say about it. Im sitting here trying to think of a positive thing to say but I cant really. I do have spot prone and sensitive skin and thought this would help as my regular moisturiser (Dove men plus care sensitive moisturiser) was expensive in comparison.
I used this after using the "Bulldog sensitive face wash" which is actually very good as it does not dry out my skin, and seems to not make it red and blotchy as some other face washes can do. Anyway back to the review of this, it made my skin go red and blotchy also the smell isn't very nice, another weird effect was that it made my ears feel like they were on fire for about half an hour after use even though I didn't actually apply it to my ears just near them.

To conclude I would say go for the face wash if you have sensitive skin and also go for the "Dove Men plus care sensitive moisturiser"Dove for Men Plus Care Sensitive Moisturiser 50ml which is a good price on here :) but be careful with this Product. I may just be a one off so don't let me put you off completely as the price is relatively cheap.

I like this moisteriser, think like most would prefer it fragrance free.
Makes my skin feel soft and absorbs well into skin and like that it is mostly natural ingredients.

Will use be using again.

In all honesty, I am very surprised by the reviews here calling the smell of this moisturiser 'seaweedy' or 'greasy'; personally I detect strong patchouli and cedarwood notes and overall I think it is reminiscent of a slightly sweet, smoky bourbon such as Jack Daniels.

In practical terms, it's very pleasant on my skin; it's light and absorbs almost instantaneously with no greasiness. I have had no blemishes at all since I started using this along with Bulldog's facewash, having switched from Lush due to their products becoming too expensive for me.

Overall I'm very pleased with it and would highly recommend it.

I started using moisturiser after many years of my wife nagging me about my dry skin. Like most men i just shrugged it off.

Now im using it twice a day (morning and before bed) its fantastic and i wouldn't go back to relying on just soap anymore. I now get regular comments on how my skin is so nice which is a first. I now fail to see the stigma in men using product to look after there skin. Im now converted and loving it.

This is a great moisturiser by bulldog and i bought as many as i could when Amazon had them on special offer. They also do a standard and a anti aging which is also very good.

The moisturising quality of this is not in question. The cream is quick thick (I dislike those very liquid products) but nevertheless absorbs very easily without any greasy residue. And it does exactly what you would expect of a moisturiser, maintaining soft skin.

It does however possess a rather odd perfume. The labelling speaks of cedarwood oil, algae extract, green tea extract, konjac mannan (whatever that might be) and patchouli oil. The overall impression given is of a somewhat marine, 'seaweedy' odour which is slightly unpleasant and sickly. The wife, who has a very developed sense of smell, doesn't like it at all.

From the point of view of the scent, I much prefer the Bulldog Natural Skincare Anti-Ageing Moisturiser 100ml in the same range.
